Elowan’s own healing journey began in 2013, when a profound personal experience reshaped how he understood himself and the direction of his life. In the years since, he has studied Somarasa, meditation, craniosacral therapy, Reiki, energy work, and somatic, body-based approaches to grief, trauma, and healing.
His approach rests on a simple belief: the body already knows how to heal, and most of what blocks that healing is old emotion or old story that was never fully allowed to move. Change, in his experience, isn’t about fixing or forcing — it’s about creating enough safety, presence, and love for what’s already there to actually be felt, and through being felt, to loosen its grip. He’s also come to trust that impact doesn’t have to be dramatic to be real: changing the course of one person’s life isn’t a smaller version of changing the world, it’s the same work, done at the scale that’s actually in front of you.
While open to supporting all genders and body types, he specializes in working with men, many of whom were never given real permission to feel, let alone talk about what they feel. Through one-on-one coaching, men’s circles, and adventure-based retreats, he builds the kind of container where that permission becomes possible: spaces held with enough structure and safety that grief, anger, and everything underneath them can surface instead of staying buried.
His coaching sits alongside the root-cause work happening at Meta Medical, supporting the emotional and nervous-system side of healing — processing what the body has been carrying, building the resilience to sustain physical progress, and, often the harder part, learning to actually receive care instead of pushing through alone.
Outside of sessions, Elowan is usually somewhere outdoors, in the mountains or the forest, which is where a good deal of his own healing has happened too.
